People are all different. Some are rather strange but lovely, and others are very distinguished yet unkind. “TheBall” is an eight-year-old boy who doesn’t talk, but is very friendly (althoughthat doesn’t necessarily mean he has many friends). No-one really remembers how The Ball got his nickname. Sometimes other children (and even grownups) aren’t nice to The Ball, but even then he can’t say a word. The kids play a lot of football in the yard, and whenever someone kicks the football way over the goal, the boy has to go and get it. Well, at least it’s better than watching the game through the window. But this time, it’s no more fun and games, and The Ball wanders off a little too far.

*Duringthe performance, the audience will join the actors as they make their way through the backyards of apartment buildings.
