Suicide is the worst of outcomes. It wipes out one life and irreversibly shatters tens of others. The greatest risk stands for young adults. And at the same time, it’s a risk that is so hard to talk about. Because until it happens it is just a distant, unrealistic possibility. But when it happens… it is already too late.
It is this feeling of being too late that haunts others most. Because something could have been done but now it’s too late. We saw many warning signs– but now it’s definitely too late…
Theatre play “No More” is staged as an opportunity to do what would be impossible in real life – to return to the moment before the tragic event. To follow what happened, to look for the moments when we could have said something. To notice the warning signs, we would have wanted to notice. And it matters because it’s those around us – friends, classmates, teachers – that can notice, help, and thus prevent the tragic outcome.
