The walking audio play “Urban Safari” is an adventure for the whole family,either everyone together or each member separately. You can go on fourdifferent walking routes and use your imagination to observe people fromdifferent generations in their natural habitats. The play presents arun-through of the characteristics of generations X, Y, and Z, giving you theopportunity to compare them, better understand them, and have a little laugh atthem (as well as one another).
Route X. Meet45-year-old Maruta. She knows what a fax and a boombox are, and knows whatKrasnaya Maskva smells like, but doesn’t know what LOL and OMG mean. She isalso about to reveal a secret about her past. What will the future hold forthis Generation X-er who’s afraid of change and cares only about the well-beingof her husband and two sons?
Route Y. Followalong the story of Oskars, a 33-year-old millennial who wants to grow pumpkinsin his garden, drink oat lattes, work from home, and live in harmony withhimself, nature, and other people. Oskars is used to living in freedom, but hisfuture plans are at risk of being shattered by his mother’s traditional values.
Route Z. Listenin on the tale of two Gen Z-ers: 11 year-old Sofija Emīlija who’s silentlyfighting gender stereotypes, and her 17-year-old brother Emīls Ričards who’skeen on developing an app that’s going to modernize religion. The grownups justdon’t seem to get what they’re on about.
Route Ž. Achild-friendly route where you can follow Sofija Emīlija’s journey. She has agreat life – her mom and dad take care of her and give her all their best, andit is exactly why Sofija Emīlija can’t bring herself to talk to them. Today isher birthday, and she has only one wish. Will she have the courage to make itknown to her parents?
